20oz Glass/Stainless Steel French Press Coffee Maker
What Is A French Press?
Coffee is brewed by placing coarsely ground coffee in the empty beaker and adding hot—between 93–96 °C (199–205 °F)—water, in proportions of about 30 g (1.1 oz) of coffee grounds to 500 ml (17 US fl oz) of water, more or less to taste. The brewing time is about two to four minutes. Then the mesh plunger or piston is pressed, to separate the grounds and hold them at the bottom of the beaker.
Because a French press does not use a filter as a drip type machine does, the robust natural flavor of the coffee grounds is not filtered out.
Hot or Cold Use it for brewing hot or cold brew coffee or tea, just use coarse coffee grounds or rich coffee beans. Leave it in the fridge overnight for a strong cold brew.
Simple to Use To use, simply add your coffee grounds or tea leaves to the bottom of the unit, add hot water to warm the glass, then stir with a wooden utensil, and let steep for 3-4 minutes. Slowly press down the plunger and serve.
Durable Construction A stainless steel top and frame give it a contemporary appearance, while a crystal-clear glass body ensures optimum visibility and a sturdy black handle enables perfect pours. The versatile design delivers an authentic taste every time.
